Dow Jones Futures: What To Do Before Monday's Market Open; GOP Stimulus Compromise Floated, GME Stock In Focus
Posted Date: February 01 2021
Dow Jones futures rose slightly Sunday night, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures, all reversing from sharp losses earlier. Investors are looking for signs that the stock market rally will find support or keep retreating. A group of centrist GOP senators proposed a $600 billion stimulus compromise.
Last week the major indexes broke through key levels, with leading stocks also struggling. The stock market rally may be undergoing a character change. Investors need to be more cautious, perhaps reducing exposure, especially if they haven't already done so.
